Equipment

In excess of our standard lab equipment we have some specialised machines for certain tests or imaging.

IVIS-CT

In Vivo Imaging System Spectrum CT 3D

The IVIS Spectrum CT enables longitudinal workflows to characterize disease progression and therapeutic effect in animals throughout the complete experimental time frame with both quantitative CT and optical reconstructions. The preclinical models includes oncology, toxicology, cardiovascular disease, neurological disorders, inflammation and other related diseases.

MSOT

Preclinical Multispectral Optoacoustic Tomography

Multispectral Optoacoustic Tomography is a powerful optoacoustic imaging system for small animal imaging. It acquires cross-sectional images from head to tail, with high resolution, in vivo and in real time. The machine is also equipped with ultrasound computed tomography for further insights.

Zeiss 710

Live Cell Inverted Confocal Microscope

The Zeiss 710 confocal laser scanning microscopes scan samples sequentially point by point. The microscope combines high-resolution optical imaging with depth selectivity which allows us to do optical sectioning.
The inverted microscope is equipped with motorized stage, heated incubator, controller regulating O2, CO2 and humidity. This allow longitudinal imaging studies to be under control environments.
